Yeah, I know man. But remember the moment when Madara tapped the ground for some reason before BZ stabbed him? That scene is suspicious and it could foreshadow his return. If he's going to return somehow, he's going to turn good. All because he lived his whole life a lie, thinking that the MT was a way towards peace when in fact it was just a technique used to collect all the chakra back and turn people into soldiers. There's no way he will support BZ/Kaguya's ideals if he comes back.

He chose? Thats what we all thought. He wanted it no doubt but we also found out that thanks to the puppet seal(which literally makes him a puppet btw so u have no argument) he was going to be forced to follow Madara's plan anyway.
