Dude, I am with you too, but understand that it won't happen. They are at war, and it has been proven that they 'both' need each other. Spotlight won't happen anymore. That was when Naruto vs Obito and Sasuke vs Danzo

What if you got what you want, and we see sauce do something stupid or make a wrong choice. As it stands there really hasn't been much sauce panel time to see what he thinks or does when not in a stand off moment... he may not be the genius everyone regards him to be, thus far he has decided to do things based on infomation being spoon fed to him, he has had to do to very little thinking of his own. Last time this happen he was walking aimlessly until he happen to see Itachi of all people.

Let me sum it up: I'm for it, I'm curious on how he would "act"

All I want to see from Sasuke is a new jutsu, seriously it cannot be that he only unlocked the teleportation jutsu, it's cool but it somehow doesn't feel grand enough for the power-up he received from the sage paths. Same goes for Naruto but to a lesser extent, he's got flying at least and some new Rasengan.
