When we look at where everthing is in the manga is now:

Naruto and Sauce failed (for the moment) at taking Kayuga out, now separated...

Kakashi and Sakura just kinda, hanging out with a passed out Obito and a Naru clone...

Everyone dying from IT....

Edo Hokage...kinda just chilling...

BZ just being a complete pain in the ....

Now what? Now that the main villain and teleport away at will at Haku speed and has life sucking symbiotic offspring. It seems like Kish has really written himself into a corner, I think he has been a little too quick to dispel any attempts to gain head way against Kaguya. I'm not complaining per say, but I question the quality of story that is going to be produced here on out, because besides a whole other Arc to somehow learn her weakness or find some way to exploit her own play ground, I dont see it happening in any way that will be appreciated. Either that or its just going to be a cheaply done slug fest of some sort. How do you make the Edo's and Kakashi/Sakura helpful or relevant in this fight? We know Obito will be for sure.

You make it seem like Kishi is writing the manga on a whim on tuesdays and that he hasn't planned the series out. It comes out weekly, so obviously it gonna leave confusion.

When the manga is finished, you won't say Kishi wrote himself in to a corner. I guarantee it.

Naruto and Sasuke are still pulling new techniques out of thin air, with a trump card Yin/Yang Seal that is proven to work on Kaguya. So Kishi hasn't really written himself into a corner, it's just that there aren't any clear limits on the characters' options. Kaguya seems invincible, but the heroes haven't really broken a sweat.

I think the more pressing concern is our need for Kaguya backstory/characterization. Right now, she's a blank slate. We know a bit about her past, but nothing about her motivations or personality. She seems mesmerized/aloof atm.

I want Black Zetsu to die ASAP so we can hear Kaguya talk. BZ is getting annoying.

I might, since the war arc started its been pretty bad, and I get what your saying, but it kinda feels like he rushed this part without to much time to contemplate the means he is using to get to his goal. Kinda like rushing through an outline, if that makes sense.

For instance from Obito (as the MV) and on, we have seen a lot of sudden reversals and nulled attacks, a chapter here and there gave us a little but was completely undone a chapter later. Think Guy vs Mandy, and Sauce slicing him in two only to undone the next chapter. One MV goes down and another comes into play, no pause.. no chance to move the other pieces on the board around, character development, reflections. So yeah, seems hurried.

True, they haven't broken a sweat yet. However I don't think pulling powers out of the air is quality writing either, thats what I mean by writing himself in a corner, is that the end result is a poorly writen chain of events that have no cohesion. I do kinda like BZ, just because he is a sleez-ball but yeah he needs to go, and I'm not sure we are going to get anything really indepth from Kaguya..she seems to be suffering from delusions and ptsd really lol

Given the glimpses of the last war (which felt more like a real war even in the small sections) then comparing it to this "war" can't tell me its well done... If Kish was some high schooler writing for fun, awesome but as someone who has been writing for well over 10 years professionally, no dice.
