Kishimoto may be setting up for yet another power up. Naruto and Sasuke were fighting together previously. They got separated and almost died and came back with a power up. And now they've been separated again and I'm pretty sure none of them can take kaguya on solo. They would probably almost die, maybe meet hamura and come back for another round with the she - god.
