Why didn't the Senju clan/Konoha help the Uzumakis ?

Why didn't the Senju clan/Konoha help the Uzumakis during the destruction of Uzushiogakure and the country of whirlpool despite being such great friends and allies?

Yeah this. It was probably a quick surprise strike. Most likely from behind. The main force came hard and fast. Maybe in multiple groups at the same time. Uzushiogakure took a pounding for sure

There is no answet for this in the manga and/or anime, this is something you have to fill in or either wait for it to be elaborate.

And they needed those air conditioners. From the sample size presented Uzumaki's were very attractive women. Naturally orgies and such broke out. Not wanting the children to see, naturally the adults built large enclosed rooms. Those rooms got hot and steamy from all the hot, sweaty action that happened there. They needed something to cool the air. Windows were out of the question since the orgies were famous for being loud. So they developed air conditioners.

it really depends on when the Uzumaki clan got wiped out i mean was it during the War between Senju & Uchiha? or after the peace treaty

maybe the senju clan disbanded before the uzumaki village got destroyed? i mean wasn't its destruction before the 3rd shinobi war? Besides all their strong leaders were dead by then (i.e hashi and tobirama)...
