Fillers.....happened or not?

People say that fillers are not a part of story....i guess they are right....but did the stories of fillers happened in NV or not?..........I was thinking about this question for some days.....so i tried to make a definition of fillers....i hope you will like it:

"A filler is a past, that is skipped in the main story of Naruto in manga. We see fillers in the form of thoughts of different characters, in the form of some previous missions given by the hokage or as a hole new story of past....So, basically fillers reveals extra information about NV characters e.g.like past of itachi, danzo, kakashi, yamato, shisui etc....."

Although, i agree with this too, that some fillers are so much funny that they are kind of insult to the characters.......but i couldn't find myself any reason to say that they never happened....main story revolves around Naruto, while fillers are about other characters.....

My purpose of writing all this was not only to clear my mind from this nonsense.....but its also for the people who hate fillers just because they are irrelevant.... we should think about fillers in a positive way......like without fillers we would have to wait for the next ep for a month or maybe more (because they will never make anime, catchup to manga)........its better to have fillers instead of having nothing....

So, What are your thoughts about it.......stories of fillers.......happened or not?

Nah, I don't consider it as part for the storyline. Especially when it comes to discussions/debates, I never use filler references to support my statements. Though, we do know Kishi has some involvement with fillers. For example, Raiga was made canon this year, a character that was first introduced in a filler arc.

"Fillers" are part of the plot. For anime only watchers there is often no way of telling if an episode/a story arc is a "filler" or not. Just think of the Kakashi Anbu arc. And some anime watchers think of the Hashirama/Madara flashback as a filler. The supposed quality drop when comparing "main" plot and filler episodes simply isn't there.

Unless Kishimoto himself states certain Fillers as a part of the canon story, they are irrelevant.
The fight of Deva against Kyuubi was partly filler as well. In the Anime, Deva flooded Konoha, used Mokuton, Shinra Tensei without an interval and survived being nailed into the ground. So complete bullshit.

For me, fillers are secondary canon - they are fine as long as they don't contradict the manga (like when they call sealing kunais in scrolls Space-Time/Summoning techniques). But I don't actually bother memorizing all filler events as they aren't that important - just extend the story a bit.

But then you have stuff like that Ostrich or Yota :|

never watched that one looked silly but the one with raiga the guy who took tobiramas lightning sword is canon. Kishi made him as an actual character in might guys flashback.
