I was always finding intriguing how Kishi likes to put in his manga symbolisms and clever foreshadows. I myself had found one once and it was really cool how he thought of the whole thing.

Have you even found any good one? If so post it here along with the respective panels, as well as an explanation as to why it really is one and I'll rep you :)

Now that you say it. That's the one I remember. I really think that Sakura's clan symbol, which looks similar to Naruto's circle on his stomach is some foreshadowing.

The whole parallels with Haku's and Obito's unmaskings.

Obito was first seen in the cover page of a chapter titled 'Who are You' which saw Team 7 wondering who Haku really is.

The panels of the two unmaskings are the exact same!

Also awesome find Byron - makes so much sense and is very clever.

I'm fascinated by the use of symbolism and imagery in Naruto. I've put together a couple of threads' worth on previous sites. Is it worth reproducing them here (I seem to be having trouble starting new threads … I'm new here) or should I just post links?

Yeah I remembered, funny how two sο chronically different battles had the same result XD Also, thanks man, if only more people could see it as clearly as you have some rep.

It's not something complicated really. While you're in the manga section, it writes in an orange frame "Post new thread". Click on that and then in the thread just copy-paste youur previous ones.

Another awesome find. I remember than one too. I really like the more subtle foreshadowing of Tobi's identity like this and my post, as its very clever and isn't so in your face.

Well, I am lazy to bring images, but I found a symbolism between the Uchiha and the Huyaga, in particular Sasuke and Neiji. I could say between Indra and Neiji since Sasuke has Indra's power.

(1) Neiji was always associated with Hawks. According to Kishi, Neiji's Byakugan would have become perfect if he could see a certain number of hawks. This was shown against Naruto and Kidomaru after the end of the fight. Also, when Neiji died, Kishi showed a Hawk flying in the air and these Hawk was killed, and Neiji's position to save Naruto was that of a Hawk. In the continuity, the Shinobi alliance launch an attack agianst Obito and Madara in a formation that has the shape of a Hawk.

(2) We also see that Sasuke's power was that of a Hawk. Even Tobi, before Sasuke's fight against Orochimaru was wondering if Sasuke would turn into a snake or rise as a Hawk.

It seems that the two eyes are being symbolized as eyes of Hawk. It seems that both Uchiha and Huyaga are destined to reach their highest level of vision - that of a Hawk.

What do you guys think. Is there a connection being established between Huyaga and Uchiha.

That's an interesting find but can you please, at some point, bring a scan about the number of hawks and the whole perfection thing that you mentioned?

The final image for Neiji is on the cover of the volume where he died. You can see Neiji as a Hawk when taking the attack of Obito to protect Hinata from dying. I will give the scans later because I am busy to look for scan. However, here is another symbolism.

I think there is a symbolism in the different Zetsus - I means the mains Zetsus

(1) Spiral Zetsu may represent the Uzumaki
(2) White Zetsu may represent the Senju
(3) Black Zetsu has actually two identities. Half of him may represent the Huyaga and the other may represent the Uchiha. His abilities are also close to the two clan.

This also gives another relationship between the clans - that is Uzumaki and Senju are from the same bloodline while Huyaga and uchiha are from the same bloodline.

Not been working for me. I've tried a couple of times and zip, nada, nihil, nothing. Not sure if it's the site or something my end but I don't understand it. Even tried messaging the mods but I can't seem to message either (or at least it doesn't register any messages I tried sending using the contact us box (any mods reading … If you could help me out it would be much appreciated). Quick replies are working fine though.

Anyway back to the thread at hand. Has anyone noticed how far the Indra and Asura development was foreshadowed? If you go back through the oneshots you will notice that Sasuke is quite often accompanied by a thunder god. This Thundergod or Raijin is in fact Indra. You can tell because of the weapon this character carries, which is a distinctive blade called Vajra. See chapter 341 and 671 and look at the weapons and compare them with the pictures on wikipedia for Vajra (NB there are different designs for the weapon but both versions are used in the manga).
