Obito and rin didnt graduate till they were eight (or they didnt make chunin til eight, it isnt very clear)
how did kakashi, who became chunin at 6 and jonin during the war, compete with the rest of his team?
I dont understand.

Look who is entering the Chuunin exam. Hayate Gekko. He is three years younger than Kakashi, so that implies he was 3 when he entered the Chuunin exam. Lel, what?

It's best not to look at the ages in Naruto.
