It took a tailed beast bomb, rasenshuriken, and Futon to destroy the core. Sasuke isn't destroying it by himself.

It actually didn't take all that since CT was blown to absolutely nothing. Susanoo arrow would easily pierce the orb. Reverse summoning would lead Manda inside of CT instead of Sasuke. Enton arrow would piece it as well. Or he could cut it. Not to mention PS slashes. Like i said before CT isn't factor here at all.
