[Discussion] Killua and the Zoldyck family

why did Kalluto know about nen when Killua didnt? he is younger and Killua was always stated to have great potential as an assassin but Kalluto who is only 10 seems to blow him out of the water already just by feats alone (being able to hide from Phantom troupe members/becoming one later) and he seems to want to bring Killua back home? I think its gonna be interesting later for Killua he now has two strong brothers both after him now (illumi and Kalluto)

oh and why haven't they shown Killuas great grandfather in the 2011 anime yet? he and Kalluto helped Illumi when he killed the 10 don's a while back

It seems Killua is a late bloomer when it comes to Nen. Perhaps he was too busy on assassination jobs he never took the time to learn about it, or his parents never took the time to teach him.

That's what i thought to, sometimes they say "she" and sometimes they say "He", the same with Alluka, Killua calls her a she, but illumi says that she's a boy

They didn't want him to learn nen for unknown reasons.

your thinking of Alluka. Alluka is a boy but has a female personality and so illumi says he and killua says she cause he knows her better than anyone else Kalluto is the boy who also looks like a girl but all the Zoldycks call him a boy

Their is no evidence that the zodylocks trained her in nen.
It seems like she activated her powers on her own

The fact that she cannot use basic nen abilities to go, or nen aura indicate that she has no formal training.

Maha is Zeno's Grandfather not father that would make him Killua's great great grandfather.

OT: If he had such great potential they maybe wanted to keep him from learning because that power on top of his potential may have let him surpass them and they may not have wanted that until he was under the same mindset they are.

I didn't think there were any sisters of Killua.

OT: I guess Kalluto practiced more, while Killua seemed to get sheltered from his family/mother. Then again Kalluto may just be gifted life that, I mean he is in a family of assassins.
