[Question] Dub Pronunciation of Laxus

To me it sounds like they are calling Laxus, Lock sis in the dub. Does it sound that way to y'all too?

No don't get me wrong, I love the dub but the way they pronounce Laxus's name is just weird, they replace the u with an i almost.

Usually dubs are right in pronunciation. It might be an accent that is throwing the pronunciation off.

In the dub's defense, there are even names that the Japanese dub of various anime will mispronounce.

Im not even sure if some of the names are pronounced correctly by the Japanese peeps the way they are supposed to be.
Example: Erza or is it really Elsa, Jellal or is it really Gerard, Meredy or is it really Melody, Ur or is it Ul or probably Ui, Sheria or Shiela or Sherry or Cherry (Wind God Slayer) and also the female exceed Charle or maybe its me that's hearing it differently
Ps: I ain't racist. And Im a super fan of Sony which is from Japan
