So obito is able to send parts of his body to kamui dimension and becoming virtually intangible. Would it be possible for someone with a large amount of speed to be able to hit obito before he could send his body to kamui dimension. Or is it virtually impossible?

he can phase faster cuz phasing is instant also passive. He can only be countered while trying to absorb or trying to jump to the other dimension, which takes more time.
So he basically has 2 timers lol
Phase timing<Wrap time<Jump time
Now the timing of wrap is also instant as said by Obito.

But he needs to be in real world for that, so can be countered by other ppl trying to interrupt the wrap, and lastly the Jump takes a bit more time which gives an opening.

Obito has to attempt to touch you before countering.

Fuu and torune tried and failed.

Minato threw his ftg and he phased through it, but was fast enough to jump when he touched minato.

Ftg is not fast enough to touch only intangible kamui.

Even Rikudou Madara who Spartan kicked minato after using ftg, wasn't able to touch intangible kamui.

When he is in "intangibility mode", if there are 2 two or more different contacts on his body parts, he needs to phase through all of them. Like when he tried to attack Naruto but Gai interrupted, he couldn't just materialize the body part that is in contact with Naruto and chose to phase through Gai's attack. In short, there is no "intangibility mode" for separate body parts. It's activated for the whole body.

Minato was able to hit him because he deactivated his "intangibility mode" to touch Minato, but because of Minato's speed, he got fodderized instead.

He could had landed his attack on Naruto and let Gai's attack phased through it but he let both attacks phased.

This is what i'm saying...what would be the point of landing that hand on naruto? slap him? cuz he can't absorb him while partly phased...this is why he went full intangible, cuz in order to wrap, his whole body needs to be in real world.
Yes, he could've punched naruto if he wanted to.
