Your opinions on Gudoudama?

Obito had used Gudoudama to tank 4 Juubidamas.

The question is, the Gudoudama was able to tank it because:
1. Obito used Onmyouton (Yin-Yang release) so it cancelled out the Juubidamas.
or...
2. Gudoudama is an extremely durable material itself, no need for Onmyouton.

Is it number 1 or 2.....:erm:

Its number 1. It didn't really tank them. It just nullified it. Though it is also extremely durable as it survived a massive senjutsu enhanced rasengan used by Minato and Naruto.

Both, I believe. Nulifing the jutsu helps, but the gudou damas are very resistent nonetheless.

I think they're both one and the same. Naruto used the Gudoudama to negate Madaras storm release, and Obito used the Gudoudama to cancel Minato's Edo Tensei regeneration. I think the Gudoudama posses Onmyouton capabilities.

I used to think the same thing but if you remember, Obito attacked Hashirama, Tobirama and Hiruzen with Gudoudama initially but their bodies regenerated.

Onmyouton needs to be channeled into the Gudoudama.

i guess youre right. he didnt start using omnyouton until he gained control. thats when he cancelld et.

Maybe Obito intended to use the neutralizing capabilities on Minato and not Hiruzen and Hashirama, like how Sasuke is able to stand on Naruto's Gudoudama without getting vaporized due to Naruto allowing it.

So maybe Onmyouton is a part of Gudoudama but it just needs to be "activated". Is that what you mean?

Number 2 duuuuhhhhh! People are being stupid. Omnyoudon can't delete senjutsu, and we've clearly seen multiple times that Juubi=senjutsu powers. Therefore, by elimination, Truth-seeking orbs tanked the explosion through pure durability.(granted, it's not like they were hit directly)

Yeah it can be implied that the Juubidama contained senjutsu. But it's not proven though.

Even Naruto in BSM mode needs to manually pump in senjutsu into his jutsus.

Yeah, pretty much. That's what I think. Similar to how the sharingan is in the Uchiha eye, but you have to activate it to use it.
