Before I say anything, I get it. I get that a lot of people on the base are crushed, angry, confused, etc, ever since the recent developments in the manga (and its obvious these feelings have been around since the manga started up for the year in Jan.) but the strange and funny thing is, I really don't give a damn. Its obvious Kishimoto is taking a different path with the manga and hell, that doesn't mean its bad or anything, so long as he doesn't half-a** the rest of the story and puts out a good or at least decent product.
Another thing that feel for some reason is that some people are overly attached to the series. I've been following this series since it came out on Toonami almost ten years ago. But I find it strange when many members of the base cannot look at a part of the story and think critically about it and criticize it (and I agree there is a few things to criticize about the latest chapter).
I don't get the extreme attachment people have to fictional works of art, not to Naruto, not to AoT, not to DBZ, not even to FMA or even Geass. If Naruto went south in story-telling from here on out, I would not have a rage-fit on the base, I would go, "Well, it was great while it lasted." and move on to another series. If AoT became terrible in the near future, I would just move on.
So, a question, am I really the only one on the base who feels this way?
EDIT: Whoops my bad, I meant to put a few instead of a lot at the end of the first paragraph XD
