From a narrative standpoint it's honestly just a bad idea. If Sabo wins then he's overhyped past Luffy's power level and it puts into question the power level of an admiral extremely early in the second half of the series. If Fujitora wins Sabo gets possibly killed or captured(Ace pt. 2) which would be frustrating and bad storytelling.

What is more likely to happen is that Sabo will explain his relationship with Luffy and appeal to the obvious conscience that Fujitora has. Fuji will decide that allowing Luffy to defeat Doflamingo is the lesser of two evils and order his men to stand down. Fuji is waiting for any excuse to get rid of Doflamingo and I believe Sabo will be persuasive enough to allow Fuji's moral compass to trump his duties.

He's already done it once with allowing Luffy to leave the casino after he knew who he was and not telling him he was an admiral. He did it again by trying to give Law an out when he first faced him, he asked if Luffy was his subordinate because if he was he wouldn't be breaking any rules and wouldn't arrest him. Fuji has a track record of doing the right thing and giving people breaks before he goes all in, I expect the same will happen with fighting Sabo or chasing Luffy.

You may be on to something. I definitely don't think Sabo is about to be beaten now cause like you said, that's pretty much just Ace pt 2. At the same time, I don't see Sabo beating Fuji right now. Not because of strength and their powers but because I think it's too early for Fuji to be defeated. I think they will stalemate one another without either going all out but still letting us see a good bit of their strength. In the midst of their battle and Sabo taking out other Marines, Fuji's moral compass you spoke of will come to play. Stalling Fuji and other marines can't be easy, Sabo wouldn't be able to do it for as long as it might take to beat Joker. Chances are, Fuji will stand down thanks to his morals and the fact that he does not like Warlords and it would help put an end to this Dressrosa's pain that he's been picking up on. Sabo TnJ'ing (Lol) Fujitora is pretty viable at this point. I'm for this theory.

Duhhhh its another Smokey Vs Ace fight.
Luffy has to save the kingdom so Luffy's brother just holds off the opponent luffy cant beat for a bit then the opponent helps them save the kingdom.

No one has to actually be beat in that battle. It's easier to just keep someone occupied than actually defeating them. Sabo is there just to hold off the Marines, not necessarily beat them. Though I am inclined to that idea of having Sabo trying to shift Fujitora's mind

I imagine Fujitora would just stall aswell,he knows Doffy isnt a good guy but he cant do anything about it so his best bet is to allow Luffy and company to do it for him

so ye basicly I agree

I don't think anyone expects them to actually go all out

Let me ask you a question

If you didn't no Dragon's second in command was Sabo...how strong do you think they would be....and wouldn't they be way stronger than Luffy

Agreed. I don't see this fight actually having a conclusion. I mean anyone in their right mind knows Sabo can't solo Fuji+2VA's. It's also too early gor Sabo to lose and the way he went in there with all that confidence makes me doubt that he's gonna lose. He has something up his sleeves. If it was Ace or Luffy they would've tried to solo the
marines only to end up getting captured but remember this is Sabo we're talking. Out of the 3 brothers Sabo was always the diplomatic one. He knows how to "win" without actually having to fight.

I could be wrong. Maybe thy are going to fight but knowing Fuji, he'll use this opportunity as an excuse in order to stall. He knows DD is bad but he can't do anything about it but if everyone thinks that Sabo was stalling them then its all good. Luffy will beat DD while Sabo stalls these fools.
