Naruto Shippuden will be on a hiatus on July 17th

Like every year, the previous Pokemon movie (Genesect and the Legend Awakened) will be airing on TV Tokyo on July 17th in order to commemorate the upcoming theatrical release of the 17th Pokemon movie, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.
Therefore, it'll be taking over Naruto's timeslot for the day.

PS: Usually, Naruto gets the due one hour special (takes over Pokemon's time-slot) either in August or in September to balance it out.

I believe both of them have gotten same number of specials.

Naruto took over Pokemon's timeslot twice this year: January 23 and March 6
Pokemon got May 29 for its double episode and now July 17th.
So, that evens it out.

Both of the series were on break on May 1 because of a sports tournament (it was Table tennis, I think) and both of them, once again, will be a hiatus next week (I don't know the reason though).

Like I mentioned in my first post, Naruto does get an hour special in either August or Sept.
So, both series (most likely) will have at least one more hour long special later this year, which means a hiatus for both of them.
