I think it's sort of unfair to Naruto and bad writing that Naruto has 9 different entities and he himself having little power to make an influence in their destined fight(if it happens).

When Naruto died I would have liked him to get some special Uzamaki powers instead of more tailed beasts.

This way when Naruto and Sasuke fight it will actually be a 1v1 and not 10v1. I know the theme of the manga is teamwork however that's already exemplified in the current fight. So I thought i'd be cooler if Naruto doesn't get help for once and convince Sasuke with his own power.

He became Ashura's reincarnation because they went to a same path together they both practice or train really hard to get that chakra bloom/mature and also the same trait when Naruto and Ashura walked the same path that cooperation with other shinobi is the key to the success. Is about a lot of shinobi coming together..
