As we know, Susuke changes his ambitions when situations change. However, his ambition of becoming the hokage is one he will be willing to push through to the end.
But lets analyse his motivations and behaviour from the last chapters.
If one can give him the benefit of the doubt, then you would see that he really means it and wants it to work.
This is because his motivation is from the experience he had with itachi, regarding his willingness to protect the village twice even though it caused him so much pain. This assessment can also be strenghtened by the panel where madara tried to kill him (Sasuke) and he made comments to not wanting to die untill he becomes Hokage and creates a real village.
Now lets look at his behaviour,
1.Sakura asked him a simple question, "what is going on outside", his reply SHUT UP!.
People try to defend this instance as him being a realist, but the fact of the case is that this is not a behaviour to be exibited by any good Hokage.
2. When falling into the lava, Sakura and Kakashi were both helpless, he decided not to save them but rather help naruto who could have found a way to save himself.
Some people argue he was looking at the bigger picture, but thats just____. How much and how long would it take for him to help them, little to nothing. But they saved themselves in the end due to kakashis ingenuity.
From the analysis above, its fair to say Sasuke has pride issues and care less about people lower in power which he is willing to sacrifice to achieve his goals.
But IMO, if he is able to overcome this two bad behaviors just a little, he would become a very good Hokage.
Some people also argue that his crimes would never be forgiven but I think if he subsides his pride and accept his crimes for which he had already accounted for by helping win the war, then I see no reason why he would not be forgiven. I am sure that even Naruto could step aside for him to become the hokage.
However too if he does not change, he would end up like Danzo and genjutsu everybody into making him Hokage and his reign would be worse than what we imagined Danzo's to be like.
