The difference between fans and fanboys of the series.

I've decided to make this thread after seeing several peeps make rather hostile and rude remarks towards others who made so much as a minor critique of the recent chapters.

I will highlight the contrast between those who love Naruto but are willing to offer legit criticism and the others who tell everyone to shut up and eat whatever's fed to them.

Fans of the manga are those who have been reading Naruto for years such as myself,we pretty much live and breathe this series ever since it first came out.When something happens we tend to discuss it,whether positive or negative,if a inconsistency happens in the story then we point it out.

Those who criticize the manga don't hate the series as some would like to believe,in fact it's the opposite:they criticize the manga because most want to see it improve.

The other side however are fanboys through and through......and just like true fanboyism they are intolerate of differing opinions unless it involves liking what they like without question.They are the ones who usually respond to someone airing their grievances with"Don't like,don't read" or "leave then nobody will miss you."

These people don't want any opinion that isn't complete ass kissing,they also refuse to admit to any flaws that the manga may/may not have or any problems with the story.They act hostile to anyone who is perceived to be a "hater" and those who don't share their viewpoint on the series.

This is the difference between fans of the series and the fanboys,we are willing to tolerate different opinions on the manga even if we disagree with them.We also are willing to point out an problem in the hopes that it would get better.

Fanboys would rather see this site be one big hive mind where everyone shares the same opinions on everything and those that don't aren't allowed here.

:yayy: TBH, I like complaining, I would never go so far to call this manga total crap, but there r definitely flaws in this manga. Ppl who deny that then r just blind. That being said what r u gonna do complaining won't get u anywhere, but it's nice to be able to vent your frustrations every now and then, though I would never b pessimistic. I am pretty sure we all just have a deep fondness for this series and as u stated we all just want it to turn out well.

I can't see how fanboys get through this manga without complaints

Same. People have neg repped me and have gotten really upset with my comments because I don't agree with them. It's laughable when they question my love for the series or say "I'm not a true fan." I love Naruto a lot. I'm not a fan of everything in the series, but I joined NB because I love the series and I always will.

There are some fans who love everything, but are also respectful and are like "Your opinion is cool. It's not mine, but that's okay" and that's how everyone should act.

Agreed,I could never hate this series but I wish it would go back to the type of story coherence pre War-arc.I seriously believe Kishi could do better than the current chapters right now.

I've been reading this manga from the start and even follow the anime. This series is the only one that while reading would put a knot in your throught and the anime may even bring you tears. I hate the fact that trolling and fanboy hatespeech is the base of this site.
Those who love the manga can debate share and praise together, but that is mostly spoiled byt the fanboys and haters with "dont read" "this manga sucks" yet they are on this base trolling the same manga they hate.

I urge those who are here for the manga, to share and debate what we love, to keep coming and dont be put off by those who are here to spoil the creation that impacts our lives every week.

Let those who want to hate and spoil crap on their own lives.

i think since the juubi fight started this new stuff has been written, but it gets created and tied in as it goes on as well. like rikodou, his sons that tobi mentioned, madara hype, obito being tobi, etc. its not perfect foreshadow but its something.

ive only been reading for a year now, so i cant say im a fan or fanboy lol. its fine to me and im curious as to where its heading. thank god the battleground changed.

Exactly this.NB is a place where Naruto fans gather to discuss their love for the series,it's not a site where only certain opinions are allowed and any criticism is forbidden.

1. They don't criticise, they complain. Learn the difference.

2. That makes them hater, not fans.

3. Fans don't jump to conclusion by reading the chapter roughly on net, they pay for official translation, read, analyse and accept the latest manga facts. They don't call manga bs just because their fav. got asskicked.
