I have a feeling that Kaguya's husband will have a role to play. What if he was the one to pass his ideals to Hagoromo about Ninshū and tried to protect the world from Kaguyas tyranny but failed and entrusted his sons to defeat her. Knowing that Kaguya represents the moon what if the husband represents the sun and wanted the opposite of what Kaguya wants which is to have all the chakra in the world. So far it seems like this has been a battle between a family that has been torn by ideals and so far no mention has been made about Kaguya's husband. Considering how strong she is maybe the husband will grant more power to Naruto and Sasuke to defeat Kaguya.

Thanks. And I've been wondering why hasn't the husband been introduced yet. Probably Kishi wanted to wait for Kaguya to be revived and show him in her backstory about how he had different ideals than her and how he influenced their sons more than her. Which would explain why she started crying when she remembered her sons.
