Too many plot twists

It all began with Pains big plan for peace, then Obito posing as Madara, then Madara using Obito, then Kaguya, ...
Next thing we know, Lee will turn out to be a bad guy who was sent from the world of Gods to set up a plan that took place even before his actual birth to take over the world because shinobi wiped each other out.

Obviously a joke, but thats how it feels to read Naruto lately.

But how many "Underneaths" have there been? How many layers do we have to peel to get to the heart of it all? Just when we think Maddy is the source of everything that happened it turns out kaguya, then we find out black Zetsu orchistrated all of this because mysteriously enough, he went from kaguya's will to the 3rd son? Is there yet another layer to peel back?

It's a little late in the game to add all these "twists" It feels rushed and unispired. But what do I know...
