Why wasn't Jiraiya affected by Frog Song?

In theory he should've been affected, right? Sound isn't discriminate. Even when Kabuto used white rage he said "I was prepared for it and I can move freely."

Maybe because White Rage isn't directed but more via surroundings.

While Frog Song is directed at a person.

Maybe because Ma and Pa were sharing their senjutsuu with him. Remember Jiraya has to hold them in his shoulder for his senjutsuu to keep up more than 5 min .

I'm not really sure, but since ma and pa were attached to him while casting the jutsu,technically he was also involved the process. They would probably have immunity from their own genjutsu. Being attached to the genjutsu user(s) is probably the answer, since later during the Pain arc, ma and pa said that Naruto would be caught in the sound genjutsu with Nagato since he was the distraction and was not near them or attached to them.

naruto's case is different .. cuz Naruto's SM had no connection with Ma,Pa,,, unlike Jiraya ,, he had connected his SM with them ... that's the answer for the thread ...
