OT: The new gen is childish as it goes. If they do make a new movie it's gonna be for kids. That's why I like the good 3: DM, GX and 5D's. It went crap mode after that. The card game is better than ever tough.
Btw what are your opinions on the direction the series went?

I read this “We're thrilled to bring the Yu-Gi-Oh! characters back to theater screens for their enthusiastic fan base.” and thought they were bringing the old characters back. :|

Nah. They just meant the franchise will be getting a new movie after 4 years... But if you want Yugi the newest thing with him is the movie Super Fusion! Bonds that transcended time. It's the best and only canon movie. u.u

The article doesn't state that it's an Arc-V exclusive movie so it might have characters from past series as well like Bonds Beyond time did when 5D's was the ongoing series at the time.

I tried Zexal but I dropped it after 20 episodes. It was crap. Arc-V looks a little better though but I can't really say since I haven't watched it yet.

Trust me I know YGO. It's just gonna be new generation. I actually watched more than 120 episodes of ZEXAL and it is just now right... Arc-V is just made as a kids show nothing else... Really hate how they decided to abandon the serious roots of the franchise.

Too bad you couldn't see beneath the surface because 5D's outshines DM. After 5D's it went downhill.

Original indeed is a masterpiece but it has a crucial difference from the GX and 5D's (wich are awesome as well) and that's it not being fully about Duel Monsters. You probably didn't read the original manga so you don't know this but YGO was supposed to be about all types of games. That's why in the last season (if you wathced it) you get just 1 or 2 duels while the rest is played trough Yami no Games in Ancient Egypt.

Yeah. When ZEXAL started it went downhill. Guess they decided to go for the sure money from kids and abandoned the mature fans. The game however is blooming on.

The original will always be my favorite, Yugi was the shit. I hated the whole concept of 5Ds but the story wasn't too bad though, just those damn bike duels..(GX was amazing as well) Zexal is terrible..

They are releasing a new game for the 3DS very soon(Finally) can't wait to play it, although I am not a huge fan of the XYZ summons at all...

36 Uopia, C39 Ray, and Ray Victory with Power Up Magic Numeron Force and it's ZW l equip cards like Leo Arms can solo Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei the very first turn and combine that with Honest's effect! It's a stomp so bad.
