heres my thought on the failed experiment. madara cloned hashi. he wanted him in IT with him but it created zetsus. lol

I actually don't think it's impossible. But in the end your theory has 10% chance to be right.. (or even lesser).. but who knows.. Kishi is the master troller.. he's gonna do something about Spiral Zetsu and his true identity.. And so,, I don't really think that Zetsu = Izuna..

Fantastic work on this theory is being plausible.

The battle with hashirama he did notice he was being watched most likely by Zetsu recording jutsu.

Madara was the first to figure out the stone monument while testing it out. He surprised himself trying to use Hashirama's DNA. so i dont think it was for his brothers cause. Madara changed his views after his brother died and didnt stay on course with hashirama's goals. so he did whatever it took to achieve IT but not expecting to get one shotted at the last moment.
