[VS] Sasori vs Itachi

Since when is strength the same as intelligence? Not saying Sasori is smarter than Itachi, just pointing out a stupid statement that not only is untrue, but makes no sense to begin with.

Who the hell was talking about the strength?
He knew everything about Chiyo and how they gonna fight him, but he failed to analyze and come up with a plan to beat them.
If i remember right he even failed to recognize that Chiyo left some chakra on his puppets, when he knew her fighting style and whatnot.

You made an implication how Sasori isn't smarter than Itachi because he lost to an ''useless'' Sakura.
Different type of intelligence. Sasori isn't the analytical type in battle who can analyze the battle situation and come with a battle plan to counter right away. He isn't considered a ''genius'' because of battle smarts. It's because he is capable of creating human puppets, a completely new and complex poison, and even managing to figure out how to stay alive and work with a body that only has a heart as it's only organ or should I say ''human part''. He figured out how to think and memorize things without a brain. Lets not joke around, Itachi doesn't know jack shit in this department.
I don't know why InvisibleMan brought this deparment of intelligence into the thread considering it's a head on versus scenario, but either way, you made an implication on how Sasori losing to Sakura means he isn't smart even though battle smarts is a completely another thing and I pointed it out.
Neither does this mean much;
He can keep on analyzing and come up with various plans all he wants, but the fact that Sakura and Chiyo had the perfect counters to his fighting style doesn't change. He can analyze the whole situation and create a plan all he wants, but without tools to actually put that plan into action as he sees it in his mind, that is impossible. That's like saying Itachi is smarter than Sasuke so he can analyze how PS can be destroyed, therefore Itachi can beat Sasuke, but he doesn't have the tools to actually destroy it.
That's basic old ''underestimation'' admitted by himself. [

Yes different type of intelligence. If i actually mean it serious then i would lean with Itachi, when it comes to battle smart, analyzing and being a genius. That doesn't mean i'm saying Sasori is not smart or whatever. He obviously is. As you stated when it comes to puppets and to stay alive as one, with only a heart.
But we are talking about NV and war/fighting is the biggest thing in it, so being smart and fast at analyzing in that case is very important. Sasori did underestimate them true, but idk how you feel about it but as a smart guy like him he should have realized fast enough he will be beaten if he keeps playing around. Well we could debate Kishi/plot bla bla, but i guess you get what i mean.

I agree that Itachi is smarter than Sasori when it comes to battle smarts, being a genius, etc. while Sasori beats him when it comes to knowledge on the human body, puppet making, creating poisons and such things. So over-all, I agree with you on this.

Itachi wins very high difficulty, but Sasori is a very bad matchup for Itachi. Being a puppet, most of Itachi's MS techniques won't have any effect of Sasori. Unlike Sakura, Sasori has lots of long range jutsu, which will prolong this fight.
Once Itachi finds out Sasori's weakness, Susanoo arrow to the chest. If Itachi can't figure out Sasori's weakness, he will lose because of low stamina

Sand is disposable. Regardless is it demagnetizes iron, he'll still be able to to manipulate the sand.
