Game of Thrones Season Finale

It wasn't a good finale and they missed so much stuff from the books which personally I wanted to see in this finale. Also, a lot of really important minor details were messed up. What did you guys think?

I've never read (nor do I intend on reading) the books so for me, the finale was great. Possibly the stuff that they did not include they will add in the season 5 opener.

The Stuff they missed was supposed to be in the interactions of characters within this episode. It would have been 100x better.

Re: Game of Thrones Season Finale

Show spoilers inc.

I'm so upset. I can't put it into the words. Just kidding, yes I can. This is the episode that they submitted to compete with Breaking Bad's Ozymandias? Sure, it started off pretty well. Everything at the wall was on point. Dany's part was also emotionally compelling for once. Jojen died, which wasn't supposed to happen, but whatever. Bloodraven was pretty cool.

And boy did it go downhill from there. Making changes from the book is fine. I understand that not everything can be included, and sometimes parts need to be added to make things more entertaining. Hell, Karl Tanner was one of my favorite characters, and he wasn't in the books. However, major character driving points can't be left out! Tyrion's entire motivation to murder Tywin was left out. In the book, it was rage that made him murder Tywin. In the show, he just seems insane. And you gotta love how they also left out one of Jaime's big motivators for s5 as well. The decisions that these characters will make in the future will make no sense to show watchers. Their goodbye just felt very awkward in general.

The hype was a lie.

Edit: And **** the Hound losing to Brienne. That shit's stupid as ****. Sure, he was injured, but the Hound was never supposed to lose a fight! And Brienne is not that good of a fighter, I don't give a **** what her irrational fans say.

Yeahhhhh that season finale was holy crap awesome. Ermahgerd I wasn't expecting that ending at all. I know some book readers were a little disappointed but I don't read them, so it was great in my opinion! 10/10

Positives:
- Tyrion killing Shae and Tywin
- Hound fight scene
- Stannis arriving and destroying wildlings.
- Arya at the end going to Bravos. Damn, if she joins that assassin's thing which Jaqen H'ghar was part of, i'll flip out

EDIT: Oh and was Shae sleeping with Tywin at the end? And did Daenerys leave the dragons to die or just keep them locked up?

How did you guys find it? Haha how am I supposed to wait an entire year for next season?

You're forgetting probably the most important scene of the whole episode; Bran and crew arriving to find the three-eyed raven. It may not have any effects right at the moment, but in the long run, what he does is vital to the coming war.

Just an fyi :)
