I did agree with the assumption that Sakura has no clan affiliation for all we know both of Sakura's parents could be from clans after all most of us assumed that Sakura's had civilian background when her parents are really ninja.

Other than that I agree she is an excellent kunoichi who is a few steps behind Naruto and Sasuke fighting overpowered escalating threats.

Naruto give life to Gai and the eye on Kakashi, not heal completely.
Same as Kurama healed Naruto whenever he was injured.
Sakura is trained medic specialist.
Kakashi trained her in genjutsu.

If Sakura is the fodder; not relevant to the manga....
Then why is Sakura still involved in fighting.
