Jiraiya vs Naruto

Jiraiya wished to fight Naruto.

Purely a battle of sages.

Intent -
Haven't seen each other for a long time.
Utmost intensity sparring till one can't move.

Conditions -
Naruto has clones at Mt. Myoboku.
Jiraiya starts off in sage mode.

Restrictions -
Naruto cannot go beyond sage mode.
He cannot recieve power from the beasts or Hagoromo. He cannot go BM or BSM.
Jiraiya is unrestricted

Intel -
Naruto only knows of Jiraiya's sage mode. Meaning he doesn't know his abilities.
Jiraiya is unaware Naruto has obtained sage mode.

Location -
Naruto vs Kimimaro.

sage mode simply enhances the abilites of the user. Jiraiya is well above base naruto, so he should be above naruto even if naruto's enhancement is substantially greater than Jiraiya's

Lawl, Naruto destroys him. Odama FRS ends pretty easily imo. Naruto's CQC frog kata is extremely powerful whereas Jiraiya's is non existent. Naruto has extreme capabilities in terms of sensing, Jiraiya needs to erect a barrier which heavily hinders his abilities. Naruto seems to outclass Jiraiya in most departments bar intelligence, which won't be too big of a factor when mass long ranged techniques can instantly end the fight.

In what way? Pein said that with intel, Jiraiya would have won. SM Naruto(with intel), Still needed massive intervention to prevent dying.

SM Naruto stomps. Faster, actual perfected Sennin Mode, SM sensing enhanced reflexes and Frog Fu (that Jiraiya hasn't), Oodama Rasenshuriken GG.

Current SM Naruto shits on him. The only sm naruto version jiraiay MIGHT be able to beat is the one who fought pain. But even that's debatable.(and SM naruto would be favoured even then)

A C-ranked pint sized Katon isn't going to counter an S-ranked Futon with god-knows-how-much power condensed into it. Attacks still need to be within the same ballpark of each other to serve as counters, and while Katon has a natural advantage against Futon, it still needs to be more powerful than the ones Jiraiya has shown.

The only Katon that Jiraiya has that can feasibly do this is his combo with Gamabunta, and the speed at which Rasenshuriken travels doesn't allow for the luxury of summoning and then firing off the attack, especially at closer ranges.
