This is from after Sasuke solo'd: Naruto, Sakura, Sai, & Yamato Orochimaru tells Sasuke not to use it but before that Sasuke was quite comfortable he could kill the 4 of them with it.

I'm sure Kirin would not have been quite as powerful of course but he clearly was able to kill the lot of them

2. Sasuke didn't form those seals when he did Kirin against Itachi

3. If the downgrade is enough to wipe out three people, why didn't he use it against one man(Itachi) and risked his life for the prep version?

4. Why hasn't he used it since, like against Killer Bee

5. Orochimaru clearly knew what the jutsu was. He said he had never seen Sasuke's Chidori Blade before, implying Sasuke developed his Chidori variants and lightning techniques on his own, implying Orochimaru might not know what Kirin is.

These five reasons against your one "It's Kirin because he raised his hand for both" reason, I think my post is more likely to be right in that it wasn't Kirin.

Minato used reaper death seal so he could not be used as Edo Tensei

You talk like we know every technique in Sasuke's arsenal. Like I said before, the reason it's Kirin is because he raised his hand is vastly weakened by the five reasons I post. Unless you can counter each of them individually, then you're wrong.

if you were paying attention you would have realized i had already done that,
1. Orochimaru almost immediately grabbed Sasuke's hand to stop him he wasn't given enough time to start the chidori

2. Sasuke was probably just trying to control his chakra like so...

3. this is Sasuke's moment he wants to make sure Itachi dies by Kirin's Hands he doesn't want to take risks especially since Itachi Uchiha is who he is this is a technique he made to kill him so he wants to make it as powerful as possible.

4. Sasuke's been maturing his skills in MS & EMS it's clear they wanted to change his fighting style up a bit while i prefer Hebi Sasuke to any Sasuke its the route Kishi wanted to go Sharingan is something Sasuke wants to perfect it's his Clan it's His Bloodline Gift so he wants to perfect Susano, etc. i mean look at how well he used Blaze Release he went to study and perfect his MS & EMS abilities

Plot you aren't the writer of the manga you can't say just because he didn't use a technique at a certain time that means i'm wrong its called Plot Kishi wants to show Sasuke's skills off widely he doesn't stick to a couple techniques like Naruto does Sasuke changed Hebi Sasuke & Taka Sasuke are different people with different ideals and a different mindset

1. It's understandable that you can conclude "that" jutsu is Kirin, but that's not a manga fact that "that" jutsu is Kirin. I'm not saying Orochimaru can refer to a jutsu he doesn't know of, but that Orochimaru probably doesn't know of Kirin, and that's why that jutsu can't be Kirin. Naruto and Sasuke both have "that" techniques they're Sannin teachers know of, could be that Kishi intends to show both of them during the war arc.

2. They may have different mindsets, but Sasuke kept his lightning techniques and kenjutsu, so his arsenal hasn't completely changed. It still doesn't explain, that if Sasuke can use a watered down version capable of annihilating three people at once, why he wouldn't use it against Killer Bee or why he wouldn't use it right away to take out Itachi.
