" Only the strong can lead, the weak is doomed to follow in the footsteps of those with power. "

Recently, there has been a huge amount of discussions around the final villain of the series, and who that is. From what I understand, Kishi has already stated that the final villain will be Sasuke Uchiha and this is also most likely. However, as it stands right now, we have no reason for Sasuke to be ranked a villain again unless something happens. The title of the Hokage isn't enough to turn him into a villain, no we need something a lot bigger than that. Not a simple role as the leader of a village, but as the leader of the world.

Kaguya has absorbed the chakra of everyone in the world, besides; Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi and Obito. Its almost certain that Obito will die soon, if he hasn't already and even though I doubt its, its still possible that Sakura and Kakashi could die. (But as I said, I doubt it) However, when it comes to power, the only one with that currently is Kaguya, Sasuke and Naruto. (Perhaps Obito, but as I stated, he will most likely die.) That means that everyone are mere humans now, like they were before Kaguya once appeared. Now its 100% certain that Kaguya will be defeated and the chakra she contains will be put into question, should it be given to the leaders or distributed among the people? This is what I believe will create the tension between Sasuke and Naruto, not the title of Hokage.

The story of Indra and Ashura as far as we know goes something like this. They both wanted peace, but in their own way. Indra believed in his own power and thus did everything alone, he believed that he was the one that would be chosen by his father because of his strength and because he was in independent of others. However, Hagoromo chose the younger brother, Ashura. He was chosen because he believed in love, his friends and that everyone is equally important and should be allowed to make decisions themselves. Just like Naruto does now. We also know that Kaguya wants all the chakra in the world for herself, she wants to be the one to hold all the power of the world. (So that no one can challenge her) Meaning that when she is defeated, the only ones left with real power will be Sasuke and Naruto, just as it was with Indra and Ashura.

" From dust you came and to dust you shall become. Everything that has a start, also has an end. "

I believe that once Kaguya has been defeated, Naruto wants to share the chakra with the world and unite everyone under the power of chakra. While Sasuke wants to keep the chakra to him and Naruto, in the hopes that everyone will unite under their power. Both are paths to peace, one through power and one through love for others. But as its been stated in the past, first by Itachi. When you are powerful, you become ignorant and selfish and the power will consume your being. This was later commented on by Hagoromo when he talked about Kaguya and Madara. The reason I say that Naruto will want to share the chakra is because he believes in his friends and he has already shared his chakra and feelings with the Alliance once before. (Just this time it will be on a much larger scale.)

The whole point of the manga is that history doesn't repeat itself.

Good read, good read indeed. I hope Sasuke will be a bit more sensible in big things, and same with Naruto for small things.

I like you because you're sensible.

The whole point about the manga is that hatred will be broken and peace will be achieved. History will repeat itself, with a different result. The result won't repeat itself, only the conditions needed for the choice of the world. Which Indra and Ashura once had, but they never found a way and hatred was born. Hagoromo has already repeated the story with a single different variable, he entrusted both instead of only one.

The story will repeat itself, but this time with a single variable different yet again. This time peace will be achieved.

Small? Its the default size, if you are having problems reading it the I suggest you get your vision checked. You may be in the need of some glasses.

Great possibility. But history wont repeat, then. As you said, Rikudou decided to leave the Bijuus to Ashura. That's why the battle began.

But now, Sasuke and Naruto have the chance to make their own decision. Just think about. That's what Hagoromo said, that this time he would let them (Naruto/Ashura and Sasuke/Indra) choose their fate.

Then again, I recommend getting your eyes checked. (To me, they are about the same size.)

Also, Hagromo didn't leave the Bijuus to Ashura, he left them to the world. He made Ashura his successor which is why the hatred started. Also, Hagoromo entrusted the future to both Sasuke and Naruto this time. He is repeating the same progress as he once did, only this time he is changing one variable of it.

Seriously, use normal font. Yours is terrible, it's way smaller than the normal. Just ask other people if I'm wrong or right about it.

Even if it turns out to be true that Hagoromo didn't left the Bijuus to Ashura, he did CHOOSE Ashura. This time, he made it clear that the future would be in both Indra and Ashura's reincarnation hands. This time he didn't choose one of them, but both of them, so they could decide the future by themself.

So, he is not repeating anything, it's already something different from the past.

I have no problems reading the font what so ever, so again. I recommend getting your eyes checked. (Its more likely that you have a little worse eyes than me, rather than me having godly good eyes.)

He selected his successor, he entrusted his power to his successor, he entrusted the Bijuus and the world unto his successor. The only different variable is whom he selected. Everything else is as it was in the past. History is repeating itself, the humans and Hagoromo on the other hand is not. They are making a different choice than the one they originally had.
