In this thread, I say why the Uchihas are so mistaken about themself. They confuse things, like power and love can't coexist. The truth is whenever someone important is in danger or in suffering, that person will awakens his true power. Whenever they think about the ones they love, they will gain force.

It's said that an Uchiha has so much love that he goes nuts when someone that he cares dies.

This is true.

And it is said that it is in this exact moment when an Uchiha reach their ultimate power, the Mangekyou Sharingan. Also true.

But, for some reason, Uchiha's lose their mind and start to think that their hatred towards the world is what makes them strong. They start to follow this path of hatred, seeking for power, revenge, etc.

But, in the manga, we have seen how Uchiha's power comes out of the love they feel for the people and not hatred. It has been show. Even if people say something different, the manga shows how strong an Uchiha can be once he stop denying what he really feels about people.

Best example. That's Ashura's essence, inside Obito. That's it. Obito could overcome Kaguya's will when he was able to remember who he really is. Back in that day, Obito's feelings came back to life. That's how he did it.

MADARA - no love, only power and nothing to care about

Plausible, seems like something Kaguya/Hagoromo would explain.
But that still doesn't explain Indra.

I see what you're trying to say. So basically, Obito was about to turn into Kaguya and overcame through his feelings for his comrades. So love could have been what truly made Uchiha stronger, instead of hatred.

I have a theory that may help you, even if the theory is wrong:

Will of Fire: Obito could reach Rikudou Sennin level alone
