(Theory)Kaguya might be acting as the Shinju's will in someway.

I know this might sound crazy but bear with me on this.This week's chapter showed Kaguya reacting to Naruto and Sasuke and having a flash back of Hagoromo when he was a young man,but what she said and her angry expression is interesting.

Notice how Kaguya said "only chakra is mine?"Where does that sound familiar?

Oh yes,it's the same as the Shinju wanting all of it's chakra back after humanity took it.

Now let's compare how Kaguya was revived to what the Shinju did after being brought back:

In both cases both Kaguya and the Shinju absorbed massive amounts of chakra upon revival.Another similarity is how Kaguya tried to absorb Sasuke and Naruto's chakra:

Her hair acted in the same manner as the Shinju's roots and branches when trying to absorb Naruto and Sasuke's chakra.

So in conclusion they may have a connection that goes beyond Kaguya eating the fruit,it's possible that after she died somehow Kaguya's consciousness became one with the Shinju.

Just like how Madara unknowingly followed in Kaguya's footsteps in implementing Infinite Tsukiyomi,Kaguya herself may be trying to be the next Shinju by wanting to take all chakra in existence.

Her wanting a Zetsu army makes sense because Zetsu can absorb people's chakra and transfer it to whoever they want, as shown with Sasuke during the Kage Summit.

With a army of Zetsu at her command Kaguya could have portable batteries to absorb chakra from every living thing in the world.

Maybe,but her motive is certainly evil if she intends to use those people as living batteries to siphon chakra from.

Kaguya's possible motive could be pretty dark in of itself.All of those people trapped in IT would be just chakra food for her to eat when she's hungry.
