Seems to be a misconception on an ET character's chakra

People on the forums claim: Edo Tenseis have unlimited chakra therefore edo Itachi can hold Susano'o up forever bc of Yata mirror, or Edo Madara can spam meteorites continuously.

The real truth: Edo Tenseis do have unlimited chakra, but they are limited to outputting as much as they could when they were alive. Eventually their chakra runs out, but regenerates just like their bodies.



-Hashi could only make 4 wood clones when holding up the barrier, while Tobirama could only make 2.

-Muu couldn't use Jinton in a split body, despite having unlimited chakra.

-Itachi couldn't hold up Susano'o forever, Sasuke even asks him at one point during the DSM Kabuto fight "can you still maintain Susano'o?"

Madara also has a gigantic chakra pool even w/o ET, even when he was alive. He fought Hashi for 24 hours straight while having Kurama under his control for a portion of the fight.

Edos still have infinite chakra, but they can only use as much at a time as when they were alive. I'm just saying the amount they can use at a time is limited, but their overall pool is infinite, just like their health.

Ex: If Living Madara could use 10 meteors before dying from fatigue. Edo Madara can only use 10 at a time.

The only time edo unlimited chakra would be of any value is with the eight inner gates. That way, the body can release more and not die of it because of edo regeneration.

Edo's don't have infinite chakra as seen with muu and the Trollkage. Instead their chakra replenishes extremely fast.
Itachi can maintain susanno forever since he would be burning less than he's regenerating.

I made this thread just to people who put Edos at a higher level than they already are.

madara already affirmed that edos,or at least kabutos versions had unlimited chakra.

1) barrier isnt just chakra taxing,it also requires good amount of concentration and also takes a large amount of the users power,hence the low amount of clones and power of them. Bm minato had more chakra than tobirama,yet made only one

2) muu's division splits his power,not chakra,edos dont regenerrate power.

3) itachi spammed his susanoo and ms techs without flinching

4)i dont think the juubi touched minato,and he was in bm so him being outta chakra is weird. He probably meant that his chakra that he shared with naruto was stolen,thus he couldnt get to naruto as he needs something he or his chakra is touching to teleport. Tobirama also had ftg,but couldnt get to him either.
