why i like hunter x hunter manga/anime

Yes and he's also a side character who got alot of development, in-fact thats one of the things togashi does best, he always gives side characters their shine

Dude those aren't side characters... they aren't as important as Gon or the others but they aren't side characters, a side character is Hanzo... do you see him getting a lot of development

Lmaooo what are you talking about?, what do you call bisky then?, She is a side character or you could call her a support character either way, Also Hanzo is apart of Naruto, not hunter x hunter, all im trying to say is that Togashi gives good development to all his characters, and not just the Mains, like some animes, thats all

What I like about Hunter x Hunter is character development, there are layers to each and every character, they aren't 1D, not just black and white but revolve in various shades, be it kurapika, killua, gon or even hisoka.
It's not that Yoshihiro Togashi focuses on just main characters or a few side characters even his smaller characters like Razor become memorable.
Villains are extremely well written, no TNJ, exceptional plot.Even in the last arc he developed Gon from a innocent shonen manga lead to a much darker character on the need of plot, not many shonen writers can do it, they simply alter plot on the basis of their lead characters.
Hunter x Hunter in a way is much better than togashi's yu yu hakusho.

Till (and counting with) Chimera Ant arc I just liked the anime, but yeah I need to get caught with the new arc in the Manga cuz people are saying it will be awesome

I kinda disagree with the development part cuz Kurapika is a main character and the only people who have got development are the main characters and the main villains...

Togashi went all out in the ant arc. Characters like Youpi, Pouf, Pitou, Welfin, Ilkago, Colt, Knuckle, Shoot, Knov got good development. Even Palm had a decent development.
