Can the Gudoudama negate Genjutsu?

Alright, I'm curious. Does the name Gudoudama or Literally "Truth-Seeking Ball" hint at one of it's abilities being able to negate Genjutsu? Genjutsu is an illusion or something false. Does this mean that Gudoudama user's can't be affected by Genjutsu? Your thoughts?

Technically it was only said to negate all ninjutsu. It can go up for interpretation though. Probably not though since Naruto had to hide behind Susanoo to not get affected by IT.

No it cannot. The Truth Seekers has to physically touch to negate.

Yeah, it just got me thinking. I hope that soon it will be confirmed that it is only Ninjutsu it can negate or that it is Genjutsu too. IT might be an exception to Genjutsu though.. hmm

While you have a valid point, the IT is no ordinary genjutsu, it far surpasses any other genjutsu. This could be the exception, though it mightn't nullify any other genjutsu either.
