His hands run against the wheat, "Is this real gold?" He plucks a wheat grain and spins it in his fingers.​

As in the mineral kind?...no. It's wheat. The plant.
The old master brought it here after one of his disappearances. He said it was to remind him that he needs to think of the harvest, 'as what can the harvest hope for but for the care of the reaper'...not quite sure what he meant but it's nice *he smiles softly, the wheat rippling as if blown by wind, despite the absence of wind, as they wander through* why do you ask?...

We have no use for it to be honest, The mineral ones do. The leader of that family is Jewel. But yeah, they're a greedy bunch. I'm from the elemental side, we don't get on with the other side much...where'd ya hear that?

Wow. Really? There's books on us outside the dragon section of the library? That's interesting ^^ I haven't seen any books apart from the once in the library or the office, on the rare occasions I got to visit.... you'll see when we get to the forest. I think a few of the mineral family escape every now and then and collect things from the other realms that fit that description. They have a habit of hoarding. But if you can get in and out of their area intact you'll be lucky. I haven't been in there more than once, I just stick to our area...

*watches his strange action, stunned to silence for a few moments, then laughs lightly* almost like you're a...*changing subject quickly*...Lady Death has taught me around 8,000 human languages so far, but as I'm a slow learner by the time I've learned one it's pretty much dead language in the human realm, I'm lucky you were able to speak the latest one she taught me before she disappeared...it made it easier communicating with the latest visitors too...I can also speak a few dialects of demon, angel and vampaneze, hundred thousand or so animals and of course, dragon *he smiles proudly* although I can't practice most of them when Lady Death isn't around...I haven't left this place for as long as I can remember..

The boy talks with him for a few moments before the dragon appears to shrink and jump up to the boy's other shoulder, Emery and the boy continuing their conversation as they walk forward...and disappear into, seemingly, think air*

*the boy pops partially pops back, only his upper body visible with one dragon on his shoulder as he leans through the wall*...coming?
