Girls und Panzer is a manga about girls and tanks. It's not about World War II, it's about tanks from the 1930's-1950's. There's a substantial difference. That said, I've never seen it.

Why not? I mean I know it's a touchy subject, but it's no worse than the "too soon" jokes and other shit that's out there.
