according to this manga panel : it implies that itachi wishes that the jutsu he gave naruto wont be used against sasuke...but if its necessary then naruto must use it against sasuke....so itachi felt that the day naruto and sasuke will confront each other will come...but at the same time he still prays that it wont come!!

this is old news the power itachi was referring to was the crow with shisuis eye in it that freed itachi from the edo tensai control that led itachi to defeating kabuto the jutsu is no more since it was used on on itachi instead of sasuke
