[Discussion] fairy tale vs magi vs FMA

Even tho I haven't watch fma it has gotten great reviews for brotherhood
And everybody that I know that watched it loves it

Fairytail is amazing in it's own right the story and fighting scenes and seeing how much the characters care
For one another is great

Magi is cool love Alibada lol it's pretty cool the fighting scenes r dope the story is ok but haven't read the manga only going by anime the story keeps on getting better and better

I also recommend toriko (just eat something while watching it)
And AOT

FMA or Magi i'd say FMA is better than magi though.
Fairy Tail is inferior to both these.

I've only seen FMA FMA:B and Fairy tail.

I really do enjoy fairy tail, and it is an ongoing series, but FMA:B is one of my favorite animes and I would say that you should watch it over fairy tail (as it is isn't ongoing, and has far less episodes)

My suggestion is FMA: Brotherhood. If you have already seen Brotherhood, go with fairy tail, but know that after the anime you still have manga to read (if you want), but brotherhood is a complete anime based off the manga.

Magi starts off quite boring but picks up quite well.

FMA:B is just an excellent anime but there's little physical growth in the main characters and is less about fighting.

Fairy Tail has excellent fights and animation but is full of deux ex machina. Although deux ex machina can be enjoyable if you don't take it seriously.

Watch all of them.

Magi is so much better than Fairy Tail, and this is coming from a loyal fan of the series.

FMA is such a short anime that you can't watch it without having to compare it to Magi or FT. So watch both Magi and FMA.

FMAB's one of my top anime of all times. FMA pretty good too, but I personally like the plot of FMAB fan, and the fact that I was reading the manga when FMA came out and was like: "WTF did they do to FMA?".

I suggest that you watch FMA first, then FMAB. The beginning of the two anime are basically the same, and each deviates off to its own path around a third into the anime. But watching FMAB first is fine too, as I consider them to be "separate" anime. Different plot. Different ending. Some different characters.

I used to like FT a lot but then I became tired of the repetitive plot and Nakama Power. Magi's anime is fairly decent although I do like the manga more. The way Season 1 ended was just... :/
