Why the movie industries don't invest in a Naruto Movie?

Have you seen Dragon Ball evolution & Avatar breh ? can you say stoinks to high heavens ? ..............................movie adaptations like that need a great mind behind it who actually knows the background of the comic & this case manga ...............until you don't find someone like that in hollywood , there will never be a good manga movie in the States , ever .


They've been trying to make Death Note for years now & still haven't done it .

I wouldn't say live action, more like all animation much like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
or Advent Children. Hell, most block buster are majority effects anyway, like Transformers or Avatar.

Using actual people would be my big gripe, although it's obvious they could cast better than Dragon Ball film (which was wrong on so many levels), you'd never please the majority with casting someone for lead roles. We have distict images of what they look like, and it's easy to mess it up, plus there's them acting like the character which would probably come off fake and non-genuine.

I actually enjoyed the Japanese Death Note movie both in Japanese and when it was dubbed in English, but please... no Hollywood Death Note movie!!

They will eventually make it & Akira is another movie they've been trying to make , I see these movies coming first before Naruto.

Born and raised. It is the most well-known anime in America taking out dragonballz. Though I do know people aren't really into it. But as far as seeing it once or twice or knowing it.. the young generation knows it. Problem is that its played on toonami. I mean about 6 and 7 years ago. It was huge man. Me and my friend used to be on toonami at 8 on saturday night just to watch Naruto.


The anime Naruto is widely more known than the Manga. Its the same thing with DBZ. So it depends on which route they wanna take.

Well it depends on the people decide to take it. I mean you really do need a kid to play and look like Naruto.

Cast list can have side big names. But what is sure is they will need people from asian cinema industries, bollywood/china/Japan and etc.

And ahahah man Star wars is done. Lucas drove it to the ground and disney will simply "Disneyfy" it. Only hope is their "Old republic" universe.

If you do those movies, you have to spend money to do justice and make people willingly suspend their disbelief that this stuff is actually possible. If they couldn't get a Dragonball movie to blow up, everyone anime fan or not knows dbz and it bombed, then Naruto is going to tank badly.
