he still bust's his ass in training

Ah, but that is his nindo...which is off by the way. He is going to prove that hardwork defeats a genius (basically he want to beat someone who is born with natural talents right?)

but here is the problem, said genius also works hard on top of his natural talents...so how the heck would Lee accomplishing his goal make since? See, If Lee had defeated Neji, it would have been through gates...which guess what, is Lee's own Natural inborn talent that requires no 'hardwork'

In In order for Lee's theme to work...Neji would have had to have been portrayed not training and naturally possessing all of his skill/power.

How is Naruto 'messed up' when his specific theme was not ever about working hard to accomplish anything? It was always about having the will/guts to never give up even when faced with an impossible situation or others doubt you.

Sure Naruto worked hard. but if you examine the times when he did so Kishi always put him in a situation were it was impossible/extremely time consuming to complete his goal with just 'hardwork' he also had to remain determined and think outside the box to rise to the occasion...Naruto's theme contrasts with his past self from the academy who Sakura said always used to get discouraged when things became tough and give up. (I'm using 'Naruto's theme here to simplify because a lot of NB member lack that reading comprehension...the story does have other themes like not abandoning comrades ect...but hardwork for the main character was never a theme...plain hardwork was never enough do to the situations the character found himself in)

Never give up...remember it.

and the only reason why naruto got that powerup in the first place is because he helped the bijuus and they gave him their chakra without that he would have had no powerup
You're wrong! He learned shadow clone jutsu in less than an hour (he learned it overnight), and he beat neji with Kyuubi's chakra! :p

Now, you know why Kishi killed off Neji. This leads me to believe that Kishi bringing in the whole reincarnation plot, wasn't planned, but rather spur of the moment. It'll also explain Kaguya's sudden appearance out of nowhere.

In the first ark, Naruto was a fluke, that wanted everyone's respect. This is where we got our hope for him. However, after the first ark, Naruto became less & less from the first person that he was in the beginning. Things/situations just started aiding him out of nowhere & I don't think many of us gave it thought until this whole reincarnation bit. We were told that Ashura is the base of what Naruto went through, just as per say, Jesus would be the base of what believers may go through.

This means, that although Naruto may have had the heart to succeed, things were made for him in his favor...more specifically the nine tails. Without the nine tails, Naruto would've been dead a long time ago, yet the nails was a means to making sure that Naruto would inevitably reach that fate of almost death & meet the Sage of 6 paths. This was the only way Naruto would ever see him.

This means, Naruto (Jesus), had Hagoromo (God) watching every step he made & guiding him where he needed to be, according to his will & he made sure that Naruto would succeed & being that what Naruto went through, is a cycle of occurance, this means that he was predestined, just as we were told. That is why he's the "child of prophecy". Jesus was called similar.

However, Naruto isn'tthe only ccharacter that goes through what Ashura did. We also have Guy, Rock Lee, Sasuke, etc.

Thus, Neji became the sole target of Kishi's new found plot of incorporating that particular religion into the story.

Neji was wrong back then and found out Naruto was right. You have a choice, you can pick An over B or C and so on and your choice opens or closes opportunities.

Naruto wasn't born with great chakra or technique. He had to work hard to get to where he is and fulfill that destiny. If he hadn't, he would died a long time ago. /thread.

He's talking about hokage, and naruto being dumb. Naruto proved him wrong that destiny has nothing to do with hard work, yes he is a child of prophecy, but he's the ****ing main character from a ****ing shonen jump manga...get with the program. ALmost every shonen jump main characters are always some sort of "hero". Thats how it has to be, naruto worked hard ot get recognized, he didnt even know shit about rikudo, but he met with him and got a gift, if he never worked hard he would've never gotten to that point. Naruto represents Ashura, well so does every other ****ing "good guy, hard worker" i nthe damn story, this goes as far as hashirama himself.

but he became who he is, because he was the reincarnation of ashura

I think you are wrong, but you have chosen to be wrong. See, Hashirama was the reincarnation of Ashura, and he had Mokuton. So far, Naruto has not shown any Mokuton. Hashirama tamed all the Bijus, and it was said that they were his pets. Yet, Hashirama never became friend with the Bijus, and the Bijus were still enemy of the Shinobis.

The above shows that despite being the reincarnation of Ashura, both Naruto and Hashirama have different power and different paths. Maybe, you should consider thinking about these difference. See, it seems that even being a reincarnation does not decide on what you will be. Otherwise, I bet Ashura himself would have stopped the war long time ago, or Hashirama would have stopped that war.

So, I still believe Naruto was right and Neiji was just a butthurt ignorant child who blamed the entire world for losing his father. As Naruto said, each person has to choose what he will become. Even with great power, there is evil everywhere and one can choose to follow either evil or good. Itachi was Uchiha, yet he side with Konoha. No other Uchiha has done this before. There is still the free will and choice from each individual as to what path one will follow.

Naruto was "destined" by a prophecy to either bring great chaos to the world, or an era of peace. Sasuke was "destined" to fall into revenge and darkness and destroy Konoha. Obito stated that Sasuke and Naruto were "destined" to fight each other out of hatred, and I doubt that will happen. (They will fight, but not because of the circle of hatred.) Neji's father was "destined" to die for the main brach, or so Neji believed until he was told the truth of what had happen.

Indra, Madara and Sasuke all have walked different paths and have gained different results.
Ashura, Hashirama and Naruto all walked a different path, had different abilities and gained different results.

Destiny is decided, but not from birth. Destiny is decided by the will of the person, which is what Naruto was trying to say. A person's will can change destiny.

^^^^^^ This couldn't be said better.
Neji's destiny wasn to change Hyuuga (which he thought as a goal) But his destiny changed.
The person walks the path towards his destiny. Destiny doesn't show green lights if you falter on your path.
