in this page of the new chapter naruto and sasuke's hands light up which then causes kaguya to have a reaction and throw them it seems as though either the markings the sage gave them or the chakra he gave them affects kaguya which would also mean that the sage planned on them fighting kaguya so he gave them powers well equipped to face her

Also in another page you can see their hands with the signs light up when observed with the byakugan but without the byakugan they look normal. Then Kaguya says something about their techniques which they haven't done any yet so them touching her had to have been a reaction

It doesn't matter if she has way more chakra than them I'm saying their chakra is super effective an example would be say a level 60 blastoise fighting a maxed out charizard the blastoise is nowhere near as strong as the charizard but the blastoise has a small chance because it's attacks are going to be super effective

It's like how senjutsu affected a juubi jin or how Naruto and Sasuke's new chakra could harm Madara and Madara's Limbo clones.

In the same way, their chakra can harm Kaguya, otherwise she would'nt have had to throw them in lava to get rid of them, she could've just sucked up their chakra.

Do you think that if she really wanted them gone so badly, that she would let go of them after she wanted to suck up their chakra? She had them in a position where they could've done nothing, but she let them go after she saw (or felt) the symbols and after that she was eager to get rid of them. Could she even suck any of their chakra?
