My Uncle is a WTF Georgian Taekwondo Champion
with over 200 medals and also did Karate ShotoKan.

My brother is also very good at Taekwondo, but none of them are with me for now. I asked my uncle if I should do Taekwondo on skype and he told me It is a bit too late for me since i am already 16 (he started when he was 9 and is now 25).
I have done taekwondo practice with him when we use to live together at home and enjoyed it.

Do you think I should go Taekwondo or Should I do Boxing(which will be easier to find),Kick Boxing. I was thinking of doing muay Thai but they are brutal and it is probably super hard to find a GOOD muay Thai place in England close to me.

What should I do?

TaeKwondo is heavily based on kicks and our bodies arent designed to fight like that with out training. Years of it. Not saying you cant. Just saying you shouldnt

Boxing is upper body and how most people naturally fight. But wieght and training are a lot less about disipline and more a bout strength and repitition.

Muy thai is regarded as the best martial art. Its the hardest to learn though

Honestly why do you want to know this? Self defense? An art form? Because it all depends on why you want to.

The fact that you are here on NB.
It makes me think that you aren't going to do these Sports.

Go Ninjitsu
You can tell people that you can use Amaterasu cause you have learned Ninjitsu (not ninjutsu) but people will think you misspelled it) muahahhaha

nice thread, I just started re-watching History's Strongest Disciple and it seems to me that Jujitsu is really handy, I'm 15 myself and I want to learn a similar martial art too since when I was little I did karate for about 4-5 years

and

if u want to do range of kicks or strengthen ur lower body u should learn TaekWondo on the contrary muay thai focuses on ur whole body
the question remains is Why u want to learn ? if u have the answer then ull b able to choose between the two
and yeah dont mind abt the age m 20 and i started to train in 2007 thats when i was 13

I wouldn't recommend any of them but Taekwondo is definitely the weakest amongst them. It's impractical for real-life situations and was always more for show than anything else.

Muay Thai is basicly kickboxing with the difference that you can use your knees and elbows, so I would say Muay Thai out of those

Then comes kickbox (also good in a fight in real life) and then taekwondo (it kinda sucks to use in a real life fight)

I would recommend Bujinkan Ninjutsu but it really depends on your innate talent, or willingness to work hard for it to thrive.

I found the secret of perfect combat abilities lies in becoming learned in multiple styles of fighting, not just one.

Muay Thai is the most efficient out of the group.

I did TWD for almost 5 years, so you should start with TWD for at least one year and then start doing Muay Thai.
I'm doing Muay Thai since 3 years now and due to TWD it was very easy for me to learn.
And dafuq is wrong with people saying TWD isn't useful and weak?
Have you ever been hit by a guy who did TWD for 5 years? LMAO
