Gaara or Sasori Kazekage?

Imagine if Sasori had never defected from the Hidden Sand. Who do you think could have made the best choice for Kazekage between Gaara and Sasori?

Just saw Sasori on Toonami earlier and was really impressed with his ability to use the Iron Sand. Seems like both of them could acheive similar results with their sands, but Gaara probably has the edge with speed and reaction time I would imagine.

In speed Sasori is faster, it's just Gaara doesn't need to have reaction speed, his jutsu does that for him
