Did Kaguya opened the ground below and created a cave-like structure above using CoAT?
Perhaps she casted a genjutsu and so it's all just an illusion?
Or maybe she teleported everyone to a different place considering she said she doesn't want to "harm" the Earth anymore?

If you believe the latter, tell me where do you think Kaguya teleported Naruto, Sasuke, etc... to?

Ok I'm going g a different route. What if she made a shield of chakra around them and used that to phase through the planet. Or burrow explaining why there was magma or vary hot rock. She is the first, the alpha all chakra controlled. Nature as in the whole planet hers to play with. Every style , every jutsu, watered down versions of hers she is untouchable in hand to hand, she can take control of your mind, and most likely (speculation) absorb or counter every jutsu.
