[Discussion] Zoro and Killer (rivarly?)

Do you think they will become rivals?

One could argue yes in saying that

1- They both are the only non-captains part of the worse generation

2- They both are vice-captains of a rivalled crew(Kidd and Strawhat crews)

But on the other side i don't feel it to be honest because

1- Killer isn't a swordsman. I don't see Zoro being interested in a non-swordsman to the point of seeing him as a rival. He always fight swordsmen and is only interested in them

2- They had no interraction whatsover despite having already been in the same room at shabondy. I'm sure if Oda really wanted to create a rivalry between them, he would have made them interract with each other like he did with Kidd and Law, yet he didn't

So what do you think?

I think if by rival you mean if the StrawHats and the Kid Pirates fought that Killer and Zoro would end up fighting then yes.

If you mean like they will become similar to like Smoker vs Luffy then no.

Zoro has enough rivals as it is XD

No i meant long term rival, not just in a crew fight. But why do you see Cavendish as a rival. I admit i thought they could fight this arc, but not as rivals and even that idea seemed to have gone out of the window since the moment Cavendish decided not to fight strawhats pirates anymore unless his different personality in Hakuba comes into play XD

It reminds me of when Luffy and Zoro met Cobi and the other guy after saving Robin, that guy had similar swords to Killer.

Allow me to rephrase that. They are Rivals and rivals are basically the same strength. How can they be that far apart?

Oh god before it changes again in a Sanji-Zoro thread again, let me say that you can have many rivals in different areas, in different contests. In school for example, one can have a rival in math and another in physics, and so on.

Kiba is a rival to Naruto just like Konohamaru or Sasuke are. I don't see any problem with Zoro having 2 rivals. The contexts will be different though considering Killer and Zoro share some parallels as only non-captains supernovas who could be rivalling themselves in strength

T Borgard has it straight, its not like anyone is to b titled as Zoro's rival I mean at one tym he will rival Ihawk ryt coz the word itself just means similar in strenght at basic so zoro can have many rivals but its the nature of the rivary that matters take Sanji for instance their bickering doewnt really involve who is stronger its just 2guys the same age heck meetme and mycousin we r always at odds end, so yes Killer is actually rival to Zoro as he is in a similar position to Zoro and well to count out a fight btwn them now wld b just meh minded. I wld b dissapointed if Zoro vs Killer never happened if u ask me.
