I have seen many thread on Hamura, and we have a wide range of prediction and speculation. So, I also decided to throw my take, not because people are making their own, but because I am usually not the most stupid here in terms of idea. So, if you want to have fan, join me for a trip.
I. Simple matter for debate
Before we continue, I want to state a principle that I seem to be one of the rare people to believe.
Yeah, my opinion is that Naruto having so far only body related power, Rikudo did not give him new body or new cells. Rather, he may have activated something that was already inside Naruto. The simple fact that Rikudo knew Gammamaru, and received prophecy from him long time ago show that the Senjutsu of the six paths is nothing but the perfect toad senjutsu of mount Myobuku that Naruto already had. Here are some snapshot that shows that Naruto already had some six paths power/senjutsus in him.
Naruto's sage art beating the crap out of Kyuubi - Kyuubi couldn't even recognize Naruto's power because of how great it was. This was the same sage mode, with the limitation of duration.
II. Evidence of Naruto's connection to six paths
While many have forgotten the following images, they are real and they are still in effect. Naruto is connected to the six paths fair and square.
A six path Jutsu (sealing) that can transform a bijudama into plain and broken peace of rock. This demonstrate the power of Naruto's chakra and how it can suppress a biju.
What I am saying above with all these fact is that they are real. Most readers are deceiving themselves with the trick Rikudo used to think that Naruto is only Ashura. As far as I am concerned, I have noticed that Kishi never throw something for fun. Everything above will come back, and I think they are going to happen in the fight against Kaguya or later. Now, let me connect it to Hamura in a very simple manner.
III. How Could Naruto Have the Power of Hamura
As you read in the title of this section, I think there is a way to say that Naruto already has the power of Hamura hidden inside him. I will use two argument/conjecture for this.
My first argument is Naruto has actually two origins. He is Uzumaki and he has an unknown origin, which is Minato's Origin. When Kishi brought the concept of Naruto having two suns, he showed that Minato was also a sun as well as Kushina. However, when looking behind the two, we can see that behind Kushina is an Uzumaki clan symbol, but behind Minato, the symbol is different. The two suns are not the same.
While people think Minato is random guy, we can see that he has a clan with a symbol. This is where lies the second half of Naruto's power (or the first).
Here, I will use the last chapter because it gave a nice clue. Most people always say to those who make theory that they are overthinking. However, it appears that these people are always complaining after chapter release because they never think about what in previous chapters. So, let overthink a bit.
The great Kaguya wanted to suck the chkara of Naruto and Sasuke
But the taste wasn't good. Their chakra is something she knows - probably poisonous to her so these chakra reacted and she rejected them
Why? First, she thought they were Hagoromo and Hamura, her children. However, she good enough to sense that they are Indra and Ashura, but Hagoromo may have given them some power.
Well done. She had peace because she think they are just indra and Ashura with some techniques from Hagoromo. However, as I said above, Hagoromo gave nothing new to Naruto. In addition, she clearly sensed Hamura in the same way she sensed Hagoromo's power. However, we know Hamura did not give any power to to Naruto, nor Sasuke.
This leads me to say that one of these two already has the power of Hamura hidden inside him. Who did she mistake for Hamura? Well, it is Naruto. In my opinion, it make sense. Hamura is neither the father of Senju, nor the father of Uchiha. He is certainly an ancestor of the Uzumaki. This is where the second half bloodline of Naruto comes in, and this is why he is the hero of the manga.
Basically, Naruto is the end of all the conflict. He ends all the splitting of bloodline, the brother vs brother conflict. He has both Hagoromo and Hamura's blood, and I bet he is also a descendent of both Indra and Ashura. For now, this theory seems farfetched, but here is my final word:
When you have the body and life force, you can use the eyes. But without the body and life force, even if you get the eyes, you cannot tap into their full power. If you disagree with me, I will point you to Obito and Senjudara. I will ask you to wait until Sasuke start to use six paths techniques.
To sum up, I am saying Naruto has the power of both Hagoromo and Hamura, and also both Ashura and Indra. Because he has only from mix of clan, his power need time to unlock. I also showed evidence that Naruto was actually connected to six paths by the new sealing jutsus.
