This is the foght pple if Zoro doesnt get pushed to the limit he doesnt improve so we need those extreme diff fights now more than ever ciz after this there will b nothing to cower under to hide from Kaido and 30% chance aint goood nough so the boys will yes go all out u know maxumise what they trained on so we are alligned well with what it was like at first as Zoro pointed out that from Island to Island they mprove even if its a bit its always bringing them closer to a major power up.

I meant as in a fair fight,
this time not having Issho and Doflamingo on his ass.
Hence why I used the word adequate.
Plus we didn't even see him getting pushed to his limit, the majority of that fight and him getting his ass beaten was off screen.

you're over thinking it. Already as it stands Doflamingo outclasses Luffy. Luffy will need a lot of plot protection to pull this off. I don't even think he will do it without help as well.

Plot protection wasn't a thing in one piece IMO. Just the growth rate in moments of dire times was so vast that if you didnt defeat someone of merit immediately then they could grow to out classyou. I am imagining it to be a Don Krieg/Arlong fight where its 60%~ of what can be dished out.
