Kaguya being an alien would be good for the story

If Kaguya is an alien, she will have more reason to be beaten and kicked out of Earth by Naruto and co. If Kaguya indeed came from 'far away' place like Hagoromo said, she has no right to take over Earth and control its people. She's just an evil invader who captured a whole planet and wants to use its inhabitants like slaves. Much like Freiza from DBZ

You can't deny that Kaguya's backstory is extremely weird and doesn't fit to the manga properly. Kaguya can't be related to anybody in NV other than her family. The tale of bamboo cutter also supports this fact

Do you think being an alien would make Kaguya a better villain?

I won't be so sure. kishimoto has been dealing with Celestial bodies since Hagoromo was mentioned (created the moon etc). Obviously Narutoverse has gone beyond the Earth. Also, Kaguya's desire to make Zetsu army doesn't make sense. THere's nobody alive who can challenge her. What does she need the army for? Kishimoto is giving us some hints

BTW, I'm not saying she's an alien. I'm saying it would be better if she's an alien. Then the fight would get more intense and interesting, with new possibilities

Yes, I do think Kaguya being an alien would be good for the story. Imagine the next Naruto VS Sasuke battle taking place on the moon, or some other place in space.

I don't think she's an alien. I think it would be better if she's revealed to be an alien. We don't know what she is. But her background is mysterious

I don't mind either way, but I don't see why some people hate the idea of her being an alien. If Kaguya is shown to be an alien it wouldn't affect the story much, the fight would still be the same. Unless of course Kishimoto brings other aliens to earth, that would be messed up

Even if Kaguya is from the moon, that makes her technically an alien. But we don't know about that...

People seem to think that "alien" and "faraway land" mean that she is a literal space alien a-la little green men, but it might refer to simply some other place like a different continent or plane of existence. I'm a fan of sci-fi but Naruto has always been more fantasy-like. I mean, even the moon seems to be smaller and closer to their planet than ours. So I don't think any interplanetary travel will be involved, but yes, they might end up blowing up the moon.
