Does genjutsu affect edos?

I've been wondering this for a long time. Does genjutsu affect edos? IT doesn't but it's not a normal genjutsu and it does not work like other genjutsus. So do genjutsus like Tsukuyomi affect edos?

Donno really.
The reason Mugen Tsukuyomi didn't affect Edos was because Zetsu bodies were sacrificed for the Edo Tensei ritual. However, this is still a theory.

Yes Genjutsu works on Edo's. Itachi was freed from it's control by a Genjutsu. Also during the fight with Kabuto. Sasuke and Itachi are both placed in a Genjutsu, and then use another Genjutsu on each other to free themselves. So we have seen it multiple times in the Manga/Anime that Edo's are effected on Genjutsu.

The reason why I think the Moon Genjutsu doesn't work on them is because it only affect living people as the tree feeds on there life and chakra.

Otherwise Itachi would of used his tsukyomi on Nagato.

If infinite tsukyomi can't genjustu Edo tensei, then no other genjustu can.

The genjustu was layered on kabuto, the Edo tensei user.

There will be no point for putting a genjustu on yourself if you have no free will.

Dude, When Kabuto forces Itachi to activate his MS, the Crow in Naruto comes forth and places Itachi in a Genjutsu, changing his will to be that of one wanting to save the leaf village. Kabuto himself is not affected by that Genjutsu. Also, as I said, When Sasuke and Itachi are fighting Kabuto, Itachi and Sasuke both fall into a Genjutsu when Kabuto uses Tayuya's flute Genjutsu. There is no need to continue this any further lol.

Kabuto wasn't in Dsm when performing Edo tensei remember?

Also, I've explained about 50 times that the genjustu was inzanami.

It's funny how after Sasuke asked how inzanami works, itachi explained that it was created to save uchiha's from inzanagi.

Since you can't cast a genjustu on someone with the same eyes as you.

This is actually a really good question, I would think so. But no genjustu has ever been used on an edo.

Mugen Tsukuyomi was for taking the chakra back from the living people with chakra and making them 'rest' & dream.
Edo Tensei have 'a weird different kind of chakra' system since ... idk... just different.
